NeoLao mobile application and services

By using NeoLao, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Service

NeoLao provides Tao Te Ching reading, AI-assisted dialogue, meditation tools, Mind Flow reflections, audio, and account synchronization. Features may change as the service is improved.

2. AI and wellbeing disclaimer

AI responses and Mind Flow scores may be incomplete or inaccurate. They are provided for reflection and general wellbeing only and are not medical, psychological, legal, financial, or emergency advice. NeoLao does not diagnose or treat any condition. Seek a qualified professional or local emergency service when appropriate.

3. Accounts and acceptable use

You are responsible for your account and for content submitted through it. Do not use NeoLao to violate law, harm others, abuse the service, bypass limits, interfere with infrastructure, or submit content you do not have the right to use.

4. Auto-renewable subscriptions

NeoLao Premium is offered as monthly and yearly auto-renewable subscriptions through Apple In-App Purchase or Google Play Billing. Both durations provide the same Premium access while active, including all 81 Tao Te Ching chapters, Premium meditation/audio features, Mind Flow, up to 200 Fast Chat messages per day, and up to 30 Ask Dao questions per day.

• The localized price and billing duration are shown by the app store before confirmation.
• Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation.
• The subscription renews automatically for the selected period unless canceled in the store account settings before renewal.
• You can restore an active purchase from the NeoLao subscription screen.
• Cancellation, refunds, billing recovery, and subscription management are handled by Apple or Google under their applicable rules.

5. Account deletion

You may initiate permanent account deletion in the app. Deleting the NeoLao account does not itself cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Manage the subscription separately in the applicable store.

6. Intellectual property

NeoLao software, design, branding, original commentary, and generated presentation are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Public-domain source texts remain subject to their applicable status. No ownership in NeoLao is transferred to you.

7. Availability and termination

We may suspend access needed to protect users, enforce these terms, comply with law, or maintain the service. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, but purchased access will be handled consistently with app-store requirements.

8. Limitation and governing terms

To the extent permitted by law, NeoLao is provided “as is” without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. The Apple Standard End User License Agreement also applies to the iOS version unless a valid custom agreement supersedes it.
